Get to know Stephen

I am an associate and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in the travel litigation team at Slater and Gordon in Manchester.

I’ve been working in the legal sector since 2005 and am a qualified Chartered Legal Executive. I am now the practice development leader for travel litigation.

I specialise in involving clients who’ve been injured or become unwell whilst abroad. I was previously employed by one of the UK’s largest tour operators as a defendant lawyer and now specialise in claimant work, making full use of the knowledge and experience I've gained, to achieve the best settlements I can for my clients.

I have specific expertise in Montreal and Athens convention claims and also in package travel regulation claims.

In addition to pursuing claims on behalf of my clients, I also provide assistance, training and development to other members of the team.

Recognition

I’m a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and I’m also recognised and recommended as a 'Rising Star' in the independent legal guide, the Legal 500.

I have been ranked as a 'Star Associate' in the 2022 and 2023 editions of Chambers and Partners, with the most recent edition saying: "he is experienced, knowledgeable and always on the ball."
