I take pride in helping my clients in what can be a difficult time in their lives. Whether that be talking to a client about their will or advising them on the death of a loved one, I keep matters as straight forward as possible, to bring them reassurance and peace of mind.
Get to know Laura
I studied law at the University of East Anglia and went on to work in the Finance Sector in London for eight years, before moving into law in 2016, specialising in wills and probate.
I joined Slater and Gordon in 2021 and advise individuals and families on complex wills, administration of estates, trusts and preparing and registering lasting powers of attorney.
Career highlights
I've acted for a wide range of clients throughout my career, ranging from clients who want you to carry the weight of the practical side of a recent bereavement, to those that wish to be involved every step of the way. I've experience in dealing with high value estates as well as intestacies.
I've also worked with high profile clients, advising on how best to plan for their future, provide for their loved ones, and helping to ensure a treasured possession is left to the right person. In recent years, owing to our growing digital footprint, I've discovered a particular interest in digital assets, particularly what to consider when making a will.
The extra mile
I am a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx), following completion of the CILEx Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, which I passed with Distinction. I am an affiliate member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP), working towards becoming a full member.
